Why does my water have a Sour taste?

If your water has a sour taste there may be a problem with the pH of your water. The normal pH range for drinking water is from 6.5 to 8.5. The pH can be effected by the natural balance of acid and alkalinity in the water or by the presence of high levels of Carbon Dioxide. This type of water can also be highly corrosive.
